Terms & Conditions of Hire Upon receipt of your deposit you are bound by the following terms and conditions of hire and payment of the deposit is taken as your agreement to these terms and conditions. Any condition you are not satisfied with must be notified in writing within 14 days of your receipt of your deposit as printed on your booking confirmation, or if less than 14 days to arrival prior to your stay. Terms: - All terms are per week/part week and for the lodge types as equipped and described. The usual take over is 4pm (subject to unavoidable delays). You must leave your lodge by 10am on the day of departure, please note that you may be subject to a £5 levy for each half hour you are late. You are expected to leave the lodge in a clean and tidy condition. You are responsible for any damage done or loss sustained during your stay and also excess cleaning that is required. Prices quoted are inclusive of V.A.T. at the current rate at the time of printing, and subject to change if the V.A.T. rate changes. Booking: - The payment of a deposit shall constitute an offer by the client and a contract shall come into existence upon acceptance of the deposit by Brockwood Hall. The deposit is then not transferable unless prior agreement is made, with written confirmation, not less than 28 days before the arrival date of that holiday. An administrative charge of £25.00 is payable on all transfers. Number in party: - The booking having been entered into, your party shall in no circumstances exceed the capacity stated on your confirmation or of the lodge as advertised in the price schedule, whichever is the greater.
Holiday payments: - Booking Cancellation: - If you cancel your booking you must IMMEDIATELY notify Brockwood Hall. If Cancellation Insurance has been taken out you must then notify the agent enclosing a copy of the letter received from Brockwood Hall. If you do not take out Cancellation Insurance you are liable for the full hire charge. Minors: - Bookings from persons under the age of 18 years cannot normally be accepted.
Linen: - Bed Linen (duvet/quilts) is provided in each lodge (cot linen not provided). Cots & Highchairs: - A travel cot can be hired at time of booking at a cost of £10 per stay. Highchairs can be hired at a cost of £7 per stay. Both items will show on your booking conformation. Availability: - The booking is made on the understanding that the lodge will be placed at your disposal on the dates stated. Brockwood Hall reserves the right to reallocate the accommodation to any other lodge at the same resort provided it is of similar or greater number of bedrooms. Should it be impossible through circumstances not under the control of Brockwood Hall. (eg: Fire, theft or damage), we cannot guarantee to provide an alternative lodge. In which case the full hire charge will be refunded to you but you will have no claim against Brockwood Hall., or their agents. In the interest of continued improvement the owner reserves the right to alter or delete amenities, facilities or any part of the programme of activities either advertised or previously available without prior notice. All Male or All Female party bookings: - All Male and Female parties may be accepted subject to a Security Deposit at time of takeover. Group /Party Bookings: - The organiser or leader of a group or party booking is responsible for completing the party details. Should you arrive at Brockwood Hall with such a group without notifying us of these required details, then we reserve the right not to hand over the accommodation to you. Special requests will be noted but cannot be guaranteed. Pets: - We must be notified in advance if you wish to bring your pet with you. Pet bookings are accepted in certain lodges only for an additional fee of £35. Dogs are accepted on the clear understanding that they are not allowed on chairs or bedding so you must bring your own dog basket/blankets. Only one dog is accepted per lodge. Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times around the site. Accommodation: - The layout plans of the holiday lodges are for general guidance only and are not to scale - variations in the specification of individual units may exist. However, all lodges meet with our required standard of decor, furnishings and equipment. Your Vehicles: - Your Vehicles, and their accessories and contents, are left at your own risk. Brockwood Hall will not be responsible for loss or damage thereto from any causes whatsoever through proven negligence of its employees. Parking or other regulations may vary; these will be in accordance with other authorities and or be relative to the location of each unit. Services: - You are asked to notify any shortcomings in your lodge to the General Manager immediately so that they can be remedied for you. No claim can be considered for shortcomings not notified to the above on the resort prior to departure. Written claims not received by Brockwood Hall. within 7 days of the completion of your holiday will not be considered. Right to refuse occupancy: - The Company, or its Managers, reserves the right to refuse or hand over accommodation to any persons who in the opinion of the Company or its managers is not suitable to take charge. In such cases, all hire charges paid shall be refunded in full and the contract shall be discharged. The Company, or its Managers, reserves the right to enter any accommodation for maintenance work, inventory check, emergencies and any other valid reason, in all cases notification will be attempted but not guaranteed. Serious Accidents: - We will not be responsible for death or personal injury, save insofar as it results from our proven negligence. Brochure and Pricing: - While every care is taken to ensure that the details shown in the brochure and price schedules are correct, Brockwood Hall cannot accept responsibility for errors contained therein or the results thereof. Resort Management Services reserves the right to change the tariff price and put special offers on throughout the year, however the price you are quoted and agree to at the time of booking is the price that you will pay, you will not be entitled for a refund for the difference in price. Photographs: - All photographs taken at Brockwood Hall may be used for marketing purposes without further permission from guests. Power and Water cuts: - Unfortunately, power cuts do occur from time to time. Where prior warning is given we will endeavour to publish the information on notices in reception and at the leisure club. Therefore we cannot accept any responsibility for the loss of food or amenities caused by loss of mains services i.e. water, gas or electricity. The Leisure Club: - Brockwood Hall, reserves the right to withdraw any or all of the leisure facilities should the need arise. Health & Safety: - Guests are reminded that they are responsible for their own health and safety and that the onus is on each guest to be mindful of the health and safety of other guests. While every effort have been made to ensure that details are correct at the time of publishing, Brockwood Hall reserves then right to assign different facilities, therefore their terms of hire could change.
